Police investigating shooting at Merino Park in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Police said a shooting occurred Tuesday at Merino Park in Providence.

The Providence Police Department said a victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident off Hartford Avenue on Tuesday night.

ABC 6 News crews on-scene saw detectives investigating around 8:30 p.m.

Police said more information would be provided Wednesday.
