RIDOH reports 249 positive cases and 5 deaths linked to coronavirus

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 249 new coronavirus cases and 5 deaths on Monday.

These new numbers bring the state total to 115,956 positive tests and 2,173 deaths.

Rhode Island is seeing a 3.7% positive from the prior day, and 4.1% for the week, which is down .9% from last week.

74,557 residents have received their first dose of the vaccine and 25,917 are fully vaccinated.
