City of Pawtucket to auction McCoy Stadium memorabilia

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The city of Pawtucket will hold an auction of items from McCoy Stadium that will go live on Monday, July 15.
The online auction, available on the city of Pawtucket’s homepage at https://pawtucketri.gov starting Monday morning at 8 a.m., will include include stadium seats, signs, photos, and various memorabilia.
The profits of the auction will directly benefit the Boys and Girls Club, Pawtucket YMCA, Little Sisters of the Poor, Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, and the creation of Ben Mondor Park.
Items will not be delivered, according to a release, and winners can pick up their items on Saturdays and Sundays in August at McCoy Stadium.
“We are thrilled to see the community’s overwhelming interest in the McCoy Stadium auction. This initiative allows us to deliver cherished memorabilia to our loyal fans while supporting organizations that have been pillars of our community. It’s a win-win for everyone involved,” said Mayor Donald Grebien.
