RIDOH reports 446 positive cases and 12 deaths linked to coronavirus

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 446 new cases and 12 deaths linked to coronavirus on Wednesday.

The new numbers bring the state’s total to 116,704 cases and 2,198 deaths, cumulatively.

Rhode Island is seeing a 3.6% positive from the prior day, and 3.3% for the week, which is .07% less than the week prior.

76,741 residents have received their first dose of the vaccine and 28,310 are fully vaccinated.
