South Kingstown Police arrest two while executing warrant, seeking additional suspects

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) – Police arrested two suspects and seeking two more after executing a warrant at a South Kingstown home.
Following a narcotics investigation and numerous criminal complaints against residents, South Kingstown Police executed a search warrant at 20 Branch Street around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Officers on scene arrested the homeowner, Sandra Henley, 69, for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest after Henley ignored officers’ orders, attempted to flee, and reportedly kicked an arresting officer several times.
Another resident of the Branch Street address, Daniel J. Henley, 48, was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Officer in the Execution of Duty and Resisting Arrest.
Police said Henley was bitten by a pit bull belonging to a fellow resident of the Branch Street residence while fighting with arresting officers. Henley was transported to South County Hospital to receive medical treatment.
According to the two pit bulls present at the residence showed no signs of aggression towards any officers, and neither were harmed. The animals were removed from the residence by Animal Control Officers and transported to the South Kingstown Animal Shelter to receive rabies vaccinations
During the search of the Branch Street address Police seized suspected narcotics and additional charges are pending following the results of a toxicology test on the substances. In addition numerous health and safety violations were observed at the address, documented by the South Kingstown Business Inspector.
Both Sandra and Daniel Henley were transported to South Kingstown Police Department to be processed and issued summons to appear in Fourth District Division Court on July 26th.
South Kingstown Police said they were unable to locate two additional suspects wanted for arrest.
Rayne Henley, 20, is wanted by South Kingstown Police for his role in an assault and robbery of a man on School Street in June.
Heather Henley, 49, is wanted by North Kingstown Police for Computer Access- Fraud and Abuse.
