One injured in Fall River stabbing

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River Police are investigating a stabbing that happened at the intersection of Quarry Street and Reuben Street yesterday.

According to officials, at approximately 11:07 a.m., units responded to a report of a stabbing in the area to find a 24-year-old male who sustained multiple stab wounds to his back.

The victim was transported to a nearby trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident is now under investigation by the Major Crimes Division.
