UPDATE: One dead in Pawtucket shooting

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday morning at approximately 12:45 a.m.

Police responded to the intersection of School and Rosewood Streets for a report of a shooting and found an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

The investigation is open and ongoing.
