Crews searching for missing swimmer in South Kingstown
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The U.S. Coast Guard Point Judith is currently searching for a missing swimmer at East Matunuck Beach in South Kingstown.
The female swimmer went missing around 9:30 a.m. with a land search wrapping up around 1 p.m.
Department of Environmental Management and fire crews were on scene but have left.

According to a representative, the coast guard currently has multiple assets out in the area searching, including a helicopter.
