Man with multiple warrants arrested on firearm, drug charges in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — A man with multiple arrest warrants was arrested in New Bedford Wednesday night on firearms and drug charges, according to New Bedford police.
Ermirio Rosa, 23, of Brockton, was arrested by narcotics detectives after he was observed at a traffic stop engaging in suspected drug activity.
Rosa was found to be in possession of a 9mm Ruger handgun loaded with 17 rounds of ammunition in a fanny pack, according to New Bedford police.
Detectives also found Rosa to be in possession of 25 grams of crack cocaine, 65 grams of fentanyl, 50 tablets of Adderall and $1050 in cash, which was seized due to the charges, according to police.
Rosa was found to have three active arrest warrants.
They were for drug and firearm charges out of Brockton District Court, heroin trafficking out of Bristol County Superior Court, and traffic offenses out of Fall River District Court.
