Great summer weekend on the way

After a fantastic Friday, we keep the nice weather into the weekend.

First, we see a super comfy overnight as well, dipping into the low-60s and even upper-50s in outlying areas.

A stationary front currently draped over the Carolinas will lift northward during the day tomorrow, allowing high clouds to spill in.

Temperatures will still reach warm levels, ranging from 80 at the shore to 86 here in Providence.

Clouds will thicken up tomorrow night and a passing sprinkle is possible early Sunday morning before the sun comes right back by mid-morning.

The air will be a few degrees warmer on Sunday with increasing humidity as well. Similar scenario on Monday before the weather pattern turns unsettled.

The threat for showers moves in later in the day on Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday looking like the best chances for all day showers or a thunderstorm.
