Sun returns Sunday, unsettled weather for the midweek
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — After a comfortably warm Saturday with veiled sunshine, clouds are thickening up tonight with a few sprinkles developing very early Sunday morning.
But they won’t be around long as sun quickly returns. It will be even warmer Sunday with highs in the upper 80s inland, while remaining in the low 80s at the coast.
It will begin turning more humid each day into the upcoming week. Monday will be dry but with clouds increasing later in the day.
There could be some heavy rain as we head into Tuesday as a wave of low-pressure tracks into New England.
Right now, NOAA’s Weather Prediction Center has placed our area in a marginal threat for excessive rainfall, which could cause some flooding across our area.
Unsettled weather continues through Thursday before drying out for the end of the week and into next weekend.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
