Median Rhode Island sold home price nears $500,000

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The median sold price of a home in Rhode Island has increased 11.6 percent in the last year, coming in at $494,000, according to the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.

675 single-family homes were sold throughout Rhode Island in June, which represents the lowest number of sales on record for the end of a spring selling season since 1998.

This represents a 19.1 percent decrease in sales from year to year.
