Mystic Aquarium releases four rescued seals

MYSTIC, Conn. (WLNE) — Mystic Aquarium released four rescued seals back into the wild on Thursday.

Over 1,000 people attended the live event at Hammonasset Beach in Madison, Conn.

“Watching these four rehabilitated gray seals return to the ocean was a powerful reminder to protect and preserve the habitats these incredible animals need to thrive,” wrote the aquarium on Facebook.

“Let’s keep up the great work to Safeguard our oceans and all the amazing life within,” they stated.
