Man struck and killed in Coventry

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Coventry Police Department said a 63-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle on July 27.

Police responded to the area of Nooseneck Hill Road around 9:30 p.m. to find a man dead on the side of the road.

The victim was identified as Michael Danielson of Coventry.

Police added that the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
