Rhode Island Blood Center launches ‘Pint for a Pint’ campaign

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Blood Center has announced its sixth annual “Pint for a Pint” campaign.

According to a release, the campaign is to encourage blood donations during the critical late summer months.

Last week, the RIBC announced the first blood emergency of 2024.

From Thursday, August 1 to Tuesday, September 10, all presenting donors will receive a voucher for a free beer at a participating local brewery or pub.

Blood donors cannot redeem their vouchers on the day of their donation.
