Water main break in Providence may take hours to repair

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence Water said that crews are working to repair a water main break at the intersection of Kinsley Avenue and Eagle Street.

The utility company said that Eagle Street is closed from Kinsley to Atwells Avenue, but is open to local traffic.

It added that water will be restored in “8 to 10 hours” when repairs finish.

Providence Water crews are currently repairing a water main break at the intersection of Kinsley Ave and Eagle St in Providence. Eagle St is closed from Kinsley to Atwells, but is open to local traffic. We anticipate repairs will be completed and water restored in 8-10 hours.
