RIDOH recommends reopening two swimming areas

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said it is recommending two beaches be reopened after bacteria levels returned to safe amounts.

Spouting Rock Beach Association in Newport and Camp Fuller YMCA in South Kingstown were said to be safe for water recreation.

RIDOH reopened a number of beaches on Aug. 1 due to bacteria returning to safe levels.
