Fatal crash in Middleborough closes part of I-495

MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said that part of Interstate 495 is closed due to a fatal crash.

Police responded to a crash in Middleborough involving multiple vehicles and a tractor trailer around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Officials have closed I-495 north in Middleborough and are diverting traffic off the highway at Route 105.

The crash is still under investigation.
