Cranston to begin demolition and construction for new Budlong Pool

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Cranston Mayor Kenneth J. Hopkins announced Monday that work on a new Budlong Pool facility has begun.
The demolition and construction work on the 8,000 square foot project will cost $4.7 million with $4 million coming from ARPA funds and $750,000 from congressional support.
Vantage Construction will perform the majority of the work on the new pool.
“Families and children will get a new pool they all deserve and one that will last for decades to come,” said Mayor Hopkins.
