Officials announce new misting station at Lippitt Park in Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The city of Providence has announced a new misting station at Lippitt Park.
In a X post, Mayor Brett Smiley said the misting station is part of the city’s efforts to enhance Providence’s heat resilience infrastructure.
“Enjoy a fun and refreshing way to beat the summer heat,” he stated.
Lippitt Park is located at 1015 Hope Street.
According to Smiley, the misting station will be open 7 days a week throughout the summer.
