Police: Pair broke into middle school and stole laptop

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Wareham police have arrested two individuals accused of breaking into Wareham Middle School and stealing a MacBook laptop computer.
According to Wareham police, Jacob Silva, 18, of Wareham, and Aubrey Ferreira, 19, of New Bedford, broke a school window in the early morning hours Tuesday and stole the computer.
The suspects triggered an alarm and were seen on security footage and arrested later Wednesday in the area of the school without incident.
The computer was returned to the school after being found at Silva’s Wareham home.
Silva and Ferreira were both charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony, malicious destruction of property under $1,200 and larceny from a building.
They will be arraigned at the Wareham 4th District Court on August 7.
