Johnston celebrates opening of renovated ADA playground

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena, Jr. and the Grieco Automotive Group celebrated the opening of the town’s renovated Americans with Disabilities Act-inclusive playground.

Grieco donated $100,000 for the renovations at Johnston Memorial Park.

The new park includes accessible merry-go-rounds and see-saws, an upper-body stationary cycle for the arms, and an American Sign Language communication board.
