3 suspects of kidnapping arrested

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) – Police arrested three individuals connected with the kidnapping of a middle aged man.

Police received information about 32 Clay street, and after obtaining a warrant, they searched the address.

Police found a man, 47-years-old, who was forced to stay in this home, and the individuals arrested tried taking the mans security check.

While searching the home, police also found and seized a large amount of narcotics, and a loaded firearm.

The suspects arrested are identified as Floyd Gomes 51-years-old, Marcus Harvey 43-years-old, and Alyssa Maurelli 29-years-old.

All three suspects are being charged with manufacturing with intent to deliver schedule, possession of schedule, controlled substance conspiracy, maintaining a common nuisance, kidnapping with intent to extort, assault with deadly weapon in a dwelling house.

The suspects were arraigned in front of District Court Bail Commissioner and were held without bail

The next court date for the suspects will be July 5, 2018.
