Humidity Drops this Weekend
This weekend is the one we’ve been waiting for! The mugginess is heading on out of here tonight as high pressure moves in. Thanks to a chance of our wind direction, we will be bringing in air from the northwest, a cool, dry airmass from Canada. Dewpoints will drop off into the 50s tonight and Sunday morning will be lovely with lows in the lower-60s and plenty of sunshine. Sunday is awesome all around- sunshine, highs in the lower-80s, comfortable dewpoints in the 50s and a light wind. If you’re headed to the beaches Sunday, know we have a moderate risk for rip currents at all southern New England beaches. Otherwise, the beaches will be great with sunshine, light winds from the southwest, high temps in the upper-70s. Monday will be another mostly sunny day with highs near 81. Monday afternoon we have a slight chance of a pop up shower/ thunderstorm. Other than this chance of rain, the remainder of the week is looking sunny, dry and seasonable with highs near 80. Humidity is expected to be comfortable too through the whole week.
