UPDATE: Man dies after being struck by vehicle in North Attleboro

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials said the man who was struck by a vehicle this morning in North Attleboro has died.

62-year-old Daniel Stober of Hull was struck by a GMC Acadia on Commonwealth Avenue around 9:24 a.m. according to officials.

Stober was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital and then med-flighted to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 11:16 a.m.

Officials said the driver of the vehicle was a 24-year-old man from Attleboro, he remained at the scene and attempted to provide aid for the victim.

Police said the driver was not arrested.

Officials said the crash remains under investigation at this time.
