UPDATE: Escaped bull captured in Raynham, officials to hold press conference

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — A bull that was on the loose in Raynham this morning has been captured and is no longer a threat to the public, according to police.
Officials shared on Facebook that a large bull was on the loose near Route 495 and Elm Street East.
The Raynham Police Department will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. this afternoon regarding the bull.
ABC6 news reporters were on scene when it was captured, and it appeared that the bull was taken away on a tractor-trailer.
It has not been confirmed by police whether or not the bull was tranquilized or killed.
Massachusetts State Police and the Raynham Police Department assisted the owner with capturing it.
