Hazy sunshine, low humidity, and seasonable temperatures

Another gorgeous day in the region with sunshine and some haze, courtesy of smoke in the upper level of the atmosphere.  Humidity will continue in the comfy level with seasonable temperatures, in the lower 80s today.  Clouds will increase tomorrow with the threat for scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon.  Temperatures will remain similar with humidity on the rise.  Conditions will improve, as far as rain chances go, by Friday and extend into Saturday with sunshine.  As Ernesto passes well offshore, our local waters will churn.  We may have to deal with high surf and dangerous rip currents as of Saturday.  According to the latest track from the National Hurricane Center, Ernesto is forecast to pass New England well offshore Sunday into Monday.  We’ll see rain chances increase both days from moisture moving in from the west.
