MassDOT placing temporary restrictions on New Bedford park and ride lot for solar installation

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said there will be temporary parking restrictions at the Mount Pleasant Street Park and Ride Lot in order to install solar canopies.

The restrictions will be in place from Aug. 23 to Oct. 31.

MassDOT said fewer parking spots will be available when work begins but more will re-open as the installations progress.
