Smoky skies continue, with a chance of a shower Thursday afternoon
Despite those hazy skies from the western Canada wildfires, our weather has been really ‘swell’ this week (in quotes because we will come back to that word!)
After another clear and comfy overnight, we will have plenty of sun and another comfortably warm day Thursday.
However, a backdoor cold front moving down from the northeast will spark off some showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening hours.
We are back to sun on Friday, but it will be very hazy. Right now, an even thicker plume of upper-air smoke is expected to round out the work week.
Our weekend looks okay, but far from the best weekend we’ve seen this summer. Saturday will be dry with partly sunny skies, but showers are possible on Sunday (not a washout.)
Okay, speaking of ‘swell’, we will be getting some big ones from Hurricane Ernesto as it passes offshore this weekend. Keep this in mind if you are heading to the beach!
