Providence Streets Coalition hosts demonstration calling for improved safety

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Streets Coalition held a vigil and rally on North Main Street calling for improved conditions for pedestrians and bikers in the area.

The coalition said the demonstration was in memory of pedestrians who were killed in the area, which included Zacory Richardson, David Lynch, Vanda Makovetskiy, and Edwin English.

The rally moved to the areas where each of the four victims were hit, and a speaking program was also included.
