Officials close off parking lot in New Bedford, investigating scene

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police and New Bedford Police have currently closed off the parking lot of 41 Rockdale Avenue.

State Medical Examiners are also currently on scene.

ABC6 news crews saw a large blue tent and multiple cone markers placed near the entrance to a local super market.

Crews also saw officials investigating at a gas station and car wash down the road.

New Bedford PD told ABC6 news that all inquires regarding the scene should be referred to the Bristol County District Attorney.
