MassDOT announces I-195 exit ramp closure in Fall River overnight on Thursday

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced it will be closing the exit 11 ramp on I-195 West to Route 79/138 North in Fall River on Thursday for an overnight bridge drainage cleaning.

The cleaning will take place from Thursday, Aug. 22 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.

MassDOT said a detour will be in place, and drivers should expect delays and use caution if traveling in the area.
