Police looking for hit-and-run suspect in East Providence

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence police said they’re looking for the public’s help in identifying a woman involved in an apparent hit-and-run crash.

According to police, it happened on August 14 around 7 p.m. on Newport Avenue.

The suspect was reported to be wearing scrubs, and is a black female.

She was last seen operating a newer model silver Chevrolet Trax SUV.
