FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A woman was arrested after she was allegedly involved in a robbery yesterday morning in Fall River.

According to police, it happened around 4 a.m. when officers responded to the intersection of Plymouth Ave and Rodman St regarding a 46-year-old male who was reporting that he had been robbed.

The man, who is homeless, reported that he was in his tent off of Rodman Street when he was approached by 39-year-old Jenny-Lee McLean, also a homeless individual, and two other unknown males.

One of the males was allegedly armed with a knife and demanded $300 from the victim which was allegedly owed by the female to the two males, according to police.

Police said the males then told the victim that they would take his scooter.

After handing over the keys and watching the parties leave, the victim fled to a gas station.

Officers located McLean and the two other males down the street.

Police determined later that while the female was involved the two males in her company had not been involved in the robbery.

McLean denied being involved in the incident, however was placed under arrest and transported to the police station to be processed.
