6 bird sculptures land in Bristol

BRISTOL, R.I. (WLNE) — Six birds, created from bamboo, have landed in the town of Bristol.
The sculptures, located at the 33-acre Blithewold Estate, were created by “The Myth Makers,” Donna Dodson and Andy Moerlein.
The duo, according to their website, is known for their shared love of the natural world, and birds especially.
The sculptures are made from both bamboo and colorful up-cycled items.
The website states that the six birds range in size from 15 to 30 feet tall and each has a story to tell.
Blithewold is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10a.m. to 4p.m. and Sunday 10a.m. to 3p.m.
Regular admissions rates apply and start at $22 per person.
