PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department is asking the public for assistance identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that took place on Smith Street.

The robbery occurred on Aug. 16.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Det. Ron Riley at 401-952-4629 or Det. Matthew Pine at 401-658-6277.
