MassDOT performing overnight bridge repair in Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be performing bridge work on Interstate 495 northbound over Route 24 in Bridgewater.

The work will begin at 9 p.m. on Wednesday and will continue nightly through 5 a.m. on Aug. 29.

MassDOT said lane closures are expected on both I-495 northbound and Route 24 southbound. 

Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
