Rhode Island Folk Festival returns to East Providence

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Folk Festival returns to Crescent Park in East Providence today.

According to a release, the free music festival includes some of the finest folk, rock, acoustic, and Americana acts based in Rhode Island and beyond.

The 2024 festival features artists including folk legend Tom Rush, Michelle Malone, Mark Cutler, and Hungrytown, along with over 40 additional acts.

The event will go from 12 to 6 p.m.

There is a GoFundMe campaign in progress for those who would like to support the event.
