Cranston Police Officer arrested while off-duty at a concert

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Cranston Police said an officer was arrested while attending a concert at Gillette Stadium.

Officer Shane Lynch was arrested by Foxborough Police and now Cranston police are gathering information to begin an administrative investigation.

Officer Lynch’s status will be reviewed after information is received from the Foxborough Police Department and the investigation is completed according to Colonel Michael J. Winquist, the Chief of the Cranston Police Department.
