New Bedford man killed in alleged fight was set to be a dad, fiancé raising money

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — A New Bedford man who was allegedly stabbed to death by his relative was set to be a new father.
In a GoFundMe post, the fiancé of Omil Padilla-Corsino wrote that everyone that knew him always “laughed, cried, almost peed their pants because he was that type of man that he could brighten up a room and make everyone laugh.”
Padilla-Corsino was allegedly killed by his relative Juan Padilla-Santana, who is now facing a murder charge.
“Even when he could be stubborn, he was loved by many people and all of us together can put him to rest the way he deserves,” states Yaniksei Santos.
Santos continues that she wishes he would be here to meet his daughter and enjoy his birthday.
So far, the GoFundMe has raised a $552.
