Fall River woman cited for accident that caused domino effect collision with two other cars

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A 44-year-old Fall River resident is being accused of causing a crash that caused a domino effect collision with two other cars.
According to police, at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Monday, police responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 2300 block of South Main Street.
Once on scene, officers said they discovered that a Nissan Pathfinder had been traveling north on South Main Street when the operator veered to the right and side swiped a Toyota which was parked.
Police said the Pathfinder continued and struck a parked Honda from behind.
The force of that impact caused a domino effect collision with the two vehicles parked in front of the Honda.
The operator of the Pathfinder, a 44-year-old Fall River resident was transported to a nearby Trauma Center for medical attention.
She was cited for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lane violation.
