‘Suspicious incident’ reported in Lincoln Woods

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management said its Division of Law Enforcement investigated a “suspicious incident” at Lincoln Woods State Park on Aug. 27.

Environmental police arrived in the park around 10:30 a.m. for reports of a gray van which had already left the park.

Police also spoke with witnesses, but could not get the van’s license plate number from those conversations.
