Fall feel on the way!

Summer said “Not so fast!” on Wednesday. T.F. Green (as well as many others) hit 90°, the 10th of the year and first since August 3rd.

But fall has other ideas. As a dry cold front moves through this evening, a big drop in both temperatures and humidity is incoming for Thursday and Friday.

Both days will be bright and sunny but noticeably cooler. Highs will only reach the low 70s tomorrow as an east wind develops.

Looking ahead to Labor Day weekend, I rank the days in this order: Labor Day Monday, Saturday, Sunday.

Saturday: Partly sunny, highs in the mid to upper 70s. Turning muggy. A slight chance of a shower by evening. Shower chances increase overnight.

Sunday: Showers, more likely in the morning than later in the day. Highs near 80 and humid.

Monday: Mostly sunny and less humid. Highs in the upper 70s.
