BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said that a young Hereford steer is looking to be adopted after he was missing in Boston for nearly two months.

The cow, named Moodini, was first spotted on the loose on June 22, and was eventually lured to a pen to be fed and given water by members of Boston Animal Care and Control on Aug. 20.

Members of MSPCA-Angell were then able to lure Moodini into a trailer through thick brush on Aug. 27.

MSPCA said that the cow is being examined at Nevins Farm, but the organization will need a squeeze chute to do a complete exam on him before he can be adopted.

Those interested in donating for the necessary equipment can do so here, while interested adopters can apply here.
