Person shot in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said that a person was shot on Congress Street Thursday afternoon.

The department said one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

An ABC 6 News crew on scene saw police tape blocking the street and officers going door to door.
