Man arrested for pulling out knife at McDonalds in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A man from Worcester was arrested and charged on Saturday night after police said he brandished a knife during an altercation in Fall River.
18-year-old Kaycky Alves of Worcester was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and vandalism.
An arrest warrant for larceny of a motor vehicle has been requested for the other male involved.
According to police, it happened around 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, August 31 when units responded to the McDonalds on South Main Street.
The department had received reports that a male had brandished a firearm during an altercation.
Police said it was determined that there was no firearm involved in the incident, however there was a verbal between two vehicles.
Police said one of the males brandished a knife at an occupant of a vehicle in the drive thru.
A physical altercation followed between the passenger of the vehicle and the male who brandished the knife, according to officials.
Police said the passenger then left the area in the vehicle operated by the male, who brandished the knife at him.
