Two Little Fish in Misquamicut closes permanently

WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — After 27 years, Two Little Fish in Westerly closed its doors Monday.

The restaurant on Atlantic Avenue announced on Facebook last month that the building was on the market, adding that several prospective buyers have told the owners they are “not in the plans.”

“This was the best seafood in Rhode Island hands down,” Tom McGinn, of Exeter, said. “The quality was top notch, it never had a bad flavor, never overcooked, never undercooked. It was just perfect every time.”

The restaurant stayed open as long as supplies lasted on Labor Day.

“That will not be long, as we are out of whole belly clams, crab, bisque, calamari and lobster rolls already, and many other items as well,” they stated in a post on Facebook.

The business opened for its final day at 11:30 a.m.
