Police investigate serious bicycle crash in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, MA (WLNE) — Police are investigating a crash that left a bicyclist with serious injuries.

According to police, a car and bicycle collided on South Main Street just after 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The bicyclist, identified only as a 46-year-old man, was taken to the hospital to be treated for his serious injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

No charges are being filed at this point in the investigation.

A crash reconstruction team is assisting Bellingham police with the investigation.
