Johnston police searching for man accused of stealing money from employee locker
JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Johnston Police Department is seeking an individual who is accused of stealing cash and a debit card from Ocean State Job Lot.
According to officials, it happened on August 2 when a suspect entered the Ocean State Job Lot on Atwood Avenue in Johnston and proceeded to the employee office area where lockers are located.
Officials said the suspect allegedly stole $400 in cash and a debit card from an unsecured locker.
The debit card was allegedly later used at Cumberland Farms and Walmart in Warwick.
On August 29, the same suspect allegedly returned to Job Lot, attempting to access the office/locker room again, but was unsuccessful as the door was locked.
