Family raising money for mom and son killed in New Bedford car crash

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The family of a 35-year-old mother and her 13-year-old son killed in a car crash on Friday have set up a GoFundMe for their funeral expenses.

35-year-old Gladys Ivelisse Colon Kuilan and her 13-year-old son Willniel Osorio-Colon died after their vehicle rolled over on Interstate 195.

The car was carrying five people at the time, and the other three were brought to a local hospital.

“We are devastated,” the GoFundMe states.

So far, a little over $5,600 has been raised, and the services will be held on September 18.

The incident is still under investigation.
